The act of checking campers into and out of camp are the significant milestones that begin and end each camp day. There are some vital activities that take place at those times to ensure that campers have a fun and safe experience while at camp.
Wristbands: Campers are provided with wristbands at check-in which enable campers and staff to know which camps they are enrolled in each week. These wrist bands are handed out on Mondays, which causes the check-in lines to move slower than other days of the week. It is a good idea to check in a little early on Mondays to account for the couple of additional minutes the wristband process adds to the experience.
Check in directly onto the bus: At each bus transportation site, your camper will be checked in by camp staff directly at the bus that they will be riding. On Monday, your camper's wristband will be ready for them at the bus. Should they need a new one throughout the week, they'll be provided a temporary wristband when they board the bus, and a newly printed one will be available for them when they arrive at camp.
Check in at camp: When dropping your camper off at camp, you will proceed into the main parking lot and find the check in zone that your camper is assigned (you'll receive this information in your email the week prior to camp) where you will find their wristband. Once you help them put on the wristband, our staff will check them in and their day is off to the best start imaginable.
Late Drop Offs: Our concierge team is setup in the parking lot throughout the day to support campers and their families. If you arrive at camp later than 9:30 AM, the team at the concierge desk in the parking lot will be able to get your camper checked in and connected with their pod at any time during the day. Proceed down into the main parking lot and the concierge is by the check in area. The concierge team there is also able to help with questions about camp, changes to your reservation, or to schedule early pickup if needed.
